More than 80.9 million shares of Vissan (Viet Nam Meat Industries
Company code: VSN), were officially traded on October 21 on the UPCoM
market on the Hanoi Stock Exchange at a reference price of VND67,000
(US$3).
After the sluggish development, the local unlisted public company market (UPCoM) grew double last year and would see another big growth in number of joiners this year thanks to the local regulations taking effect in 2016.
The new circular from the Ministry of Finance, providing guidance on
trading rules for unlisted securities, is expected to improve the
transparency of public companies and better protect investors''
interests.
